Urban gardens are starting everywhere. Even small spaces can yield a lot of produce. Use a rooftop, a courtyard, an area in front or back of a building. You can garden before or after work or on a lunch hour. Produce can be taken by employees, neighbors or donated to a food bank. And then there are those urban bee hives. Hmmmm. It cleans the air, reduces carbon footprint and feeds people healthy food.
